Kodak Super-XX (type 127)
When Super-XX was introduced in 1940s its speed of 100 ASA was considered fast. At some stage it was upgraded to 200 ISO and this is the speed given in Kodak Professional Photoguide, 1977. By then it was only available as sheet film, the production of roll film, including type 127 was discontinued before 1960. According to this publication the film has medium resolving power, graininess and degree of enlargement.
The roll was processed in Barry Thorntorn's two bath developer (4.5 minutes in Bath A and 4.5 minutes in Bath B at 20 °C). There were only three exposures on the roll taken indoors under available light. For some reason the second frame on the roll is more degraded than the others. The subject of the last image is somewhat disturbing though pictorially the photograph works quite well.
